Part I: Wireless

Dabba posts 500% yearly growth. As a decentralized internet service provider, Dabba delivers internet access through a blockchain-powered network. In Q1 of this year, users consumed 3.9TB of data.

Dabba's network expands as hotspot sales approach 12k. With about 12k Dabba Lite hotspots sold, including over 300 in March, Dabba's decentralized infrastructure continues to expand.

The Roam ecosystem flourished in March. The network reached 3 million hotspots and 2.5 million registered users, highlighting rapid adoption.

Roam check-ins have been steadily climbing month-over-month. Check-ins enable the protocol to validate WiFi connectivity with the help of its users. In March, Roam recorded 254M check-ins, a 26% increase from the previous month.

XNET data offload has hit a new peak. Average daily data offload jumped 8% in March. XNET unveiled a new WiFi roaming agreement with AT&T that grants AT&T customers access to XNET's carrier-grade Wi-Fi network.

XNET contributors and rewards hit a new ATH. The XNET Foundation working group approved XIP-11 which sets a fixed 2.5M $XNET token rewards per epoch. This ensures balance between network growth and sustainability.

New Helium Mobile subscribers are on a fresh uptrend. Total subscribers grew 11% to 160k. Starting in April, Helium is launching a free plan available to everyone, which is expected to boost subscriber growth.

Data offloading has become Helium Mobile's key strength. Data offloading now drives 69% of Helium network demand. Total demand–measured by data credits burned–increased 12% in March.

Part II: Compute, AI, & Data

Grass data collection continues to thrive. The Sion upgrade boosted Grass's scraping capabilities, driving a 76% increase in data collection in March.

Nosana ecosystem metrics are climbing. Jobs completed, active GPU operators, and contributor rewards all achieved double-digit percentage growth in March, reflecting robust expansion across the platform.

Hivello launched their long-anticipated token. Hivello, a DePIN aggregator platform for monetizing idle resources, distributed $HVLO tokens to active operators on March 18. Over 1,600 token holders staked their tokens in March, signaling strong early engagement.

Points generation on Kuzco hit a new ATH. Points earned by node operators jumped 43%. This was likely driven by a spike in network inference demand as their monthly active GPUs remained consistent.

Part III: Mapping

Hivemapper hit a new ATH in monthly kilometers mapped. With more Bee Dashcams hitting the road, Hivemapper’s mapped kilometers increased 22% in March.

Hivemapper’s active map contributors stabilized. Throughout March, the number of active Hivemapper contributors remained consistent at around 5k. To further improve the mapping experience, Hivemapper launched a mobile app for the Bee Dashcam.

NATIX data collection remained consistent. While users drove 11 million kilometers, map data events collected dropped by 18%.

NATIX demand has stabilized in March. NATIX's token burn cooled by 9% at just 38M tokens.

Part IV: Environment

Srcful power production sets a record high. Power output nearly doubled in the latest period, even as the number of installed gateways held steady.

Ambios' web app, AmbiGo!, has gained traction. AmbiGo! is a community-driven platform for environmental monitoring. Users earn points by checking in and sharing local ecological data to help Ambios optimize sensor placement. The platform has rapidly expanded, with over 44k users and 1.8M check-ins.

in March.

The latest Solana Summit featured DePIN and hardware in India. The summit held various presentations from both newer and veteran DePIN protocols.

Roam started airdropping tokens to contributors, including OGs, NFT holders, and device owners in late February and early March.

UpRock now has over 2.6M connected devices. The protocol has also been integrating more projects into Prism, an uptime monitoring system.
